Located in a biological Conservation Corridor, Valle del Cauca lies between the National Park of Tatama and "serrania de los paraguas". Some years ago, this region was identified by Conservation International as one of the two main conservation corridors in Colombia.
On processing: This is an Ethyl Acetate process decaf, which may sound “chemically”, but only in the same way that Dihydrogen Monoxide does. (That’s just good ‘ol water, in case you were uncertain) E.A. (Ethyl Acetate) is a solvent made from naturally fermented sugar cane. After a quick bath in this solution, the coffee beans are steamed to remove all traces of EA, and are left with only trace amounts of caffeine (.01% - .03%).
