They invest heavily in training both farmers and young professionals, helping build expertise in areas like quality control, agronomy, finance, and processing. In a country where the average coffee farmer is nearing retirement age, Mountain Harvest is helping create new pathways into the coffee industry while supporting producers in strengthening their farm businesses.\n\nThis lot was produced using a honey process, where the fruit is removed from the coffee cherry but a layer of sticky mucilage is left intact during drying. At Sironko, the coffee is carefully dried in stages on raised beds before being stabilized and prepared for export.
